Tagging Tips
- Print your tags right at home from your computer.

- Print your tags on white card stock only. This is required.
- If you only need a few pages, we are selling 20 pages of card stock for $2.00 at the Paraclete bookstore.
- You must place the safety pin as directed on the tag. Anything else will disrupt the scanning process of the barcodes.
- Place the tag over the heart (right side) at the top of the garment.
- The hook of the hanger needs to be facing left as you face the garment.
- You can get wire hangers from area dry cleaners. Just ask them!
- Use numerical sizing only. Only use SML with Juniors, if specified as such.
- Saran wrap puzzles, games or sets of books together. Tape to secure.
- If you must tape the tag to the item because you can’t use a safety pin, tape above the bar code. Do not let the tape cover the bar code.
- Bundle small items together in Ziploc® bags (socks, small shoes, onesies, bibs, hair bows, etc.) Tape the tag to the outside of the bag.
- Ziploc extra toy pieces and tape to the larger item it belongs to. Label it!
- If a picture helps to sell your large item (bedroom set, outdoor play set, etc.) place the picture in a gallon-size Ziploc bag and tape it to the item. On the reverse side, include directions/suggestions, etc. This helps the buyer know what to do.
- Always include owner’s manual, directions or spare parts. Buyers appreciate this and will want to buy that item over another without paperwork.
