Guidelines

  • In order for us to deduct your participant fee at the end of the sale, we require a minimum number of 25 items. The maximum number of clothing items that can be brought is 500. Item total can be 750.
  • All items will be inspected. Items not meeting our standards will be donated.
    • Toys must be clean and have all parts.
    • No tears, stains or missing buttons/broken zippers on clothes.
    • Bedding must be in excellent condition.
    • Shoes must be bound together.
  • All consignors are required to work one, 3-hour shift. If you do not show for your shift, your profit becomes 30% instead of 70%.
  • You must use numerical sizing on clothes from newborn to size 16. Teen clothing can use SML or numerical. Please be specific.
  • All clothing must be attached to hangers with safety pins. The safety pins must attach the tag to the garment exactly as the tag specifies. This is vital to the scanning process of the bar codes.
  • Jeans and pants must be hung straight on the hanger and attached to the hanger with safety pins. This allows the buyer to inspect the knees and seat of the pants.
  • All clothes must be on the hanger with the hook of the hanger facing to the left as you look at the front of the garment.
  • The tag will be attached on the left side of the garment at the top, over the heart area.
  • You will be making your tags online, following the prompts at registration. A barcode system is used to help track your/our inventory and help get your check to you sooner at the end.
  • It is imperative that you use WHITE card stock paper to print your tags. This is done from the convenience of your home on your own printer. We are selling pages of card stock at the Paraclete bookstore; 20 pages are $2.00.
  • On Wednesday, SIGN IN FIRST before bringing items in. There is a bit of paperwork to do and this needs to be completed before we inspect your items.
  • Have clothing bound & separated by size and gender, labeled as such. We will not accept your items if they are not bound by size & gender.
  • Items marked “to be discounted” (by checking this box online when doing your tags) will sell for 1/2 price on Saturday. Your tags will be printed with a red dot if they are not to be discounted.
  • You will pick up any unsold item between 3-4 pm on Saturday and no sooner. Items not picked up by 4:00 will be donated.
  • Please provide a large box with your consignor number on it for us to sort your unsold items in at the end of the sale.
